Today we wish Jose Ayala Garcia Happy Birthday!
Last year Jose, his sister Gisselle, and their mother Maria came in to purchase Gisselle her new R13 clarinet (Thank You!) I remembered Jose’s family from when they purchased his TM Custom tenor sax in 2016 when he was a student at Sioux City West High School. I asked what Jose what he’s doing now and his reply blew me away. He’s at Princeton University in New Jersey studying Mechanical & Aerospace Engineering with the goal of working in the space industry someday!
The power of music. We hear stories like this regularly…band and orchestra kids going on to do great things with their life. So much research shows that making music makes you smarter, and Jose is no exception. We’re so grateful to all the parents and students who invest in their child’s musical experience. Sometimes that investment is priceless in terms of quality of life and contribution to society as adults.
