Jazz is in the air as Siouxland High School bands diligently prepare their contest repertoire for multiple area jazz festivals. As a community music supporter, music retailer and jazz lover to the core, it brings me joy to share the below MLK speech with you.
MSFQ stands for "More to Start, Fewer to Quit"
Playing in a school band can be an enriching experience for students. It allows them to develop their musical skills, work in a team, and perform in front of an audience. As a band director, keeping students engaged and motivated to continue playing in the school band is key to building a successful program.
