Created as an homage for the late Maple Leaf Strings Luthier, Philip Doan, the MLS513 Noble Philip is intended to honor his commitment to Maple Leaf Strings and the national musical community. As we look towards Philip’s legacy, Philip valued his community dearly and committed his life to serve it. The Noble Philip will be a steppingstone for the advancing musician; an instrument with clear precision, projection and richness that proves to be a Midbell favorite.

For each Noble Philip purchased, Maple Leaf Strings will donate 10% of proceeds towards a scholarship fund created to provide access to private music education for undeserved musicians.
