Our plan is a month-by-month rental-purchase plan. We have low monthly payments to fit any budget. New and pre-owned, we have options for every family. Every instrument is educator approved and guaranteed to be in excellent playing condition. After choosing the instrument that fits your budget, you simply rent month-by-month with the option to return the instrument anytime with no further obligation. You rent until you return or until you own the instrument.

We make it super easy and simple to acquire ownership of your instrument — 100% of rent applies to purchase. That’s right, our plan is 0% interest, so if your child stays with band, simply stay on the plan and you will own the instrument. Keep renting month-by-month and ownership is automatic once your payment term is up. Once ownership is acquired, payments stop and the instrument belongs to your family. ✓ Maintenance & Replacement
Included in the monthly payment is our comprehensive M&R Plan. You can rest easy because all repairs are covered under this plan, including normal wear and accidental damage. We have the best repair shop in the upper Midwest, with 6 full-time professional band instrument repair technicians. If your instrument requires service, one of our Educational Service Reps can pick it up at your school, bring it to our shop, and return it to the school at no additional charge. Quality is absolutely imperative to your child’s success. Beginning on an inferior brand or an old instrument in need of extensive repairs can be very detrimental to the child’s band experience. At Ray’s Midbell Music, every instrument is name-brand, like Yamaha®, Conn®, and Jupiter®, to name a few.

✓ FREE Transfers
Sometimes students begin on an instrument that isn’t physically suited to them. Sometimes students simply don’t like playing their initial choice and wish to switch. We recommend checking with your band director before making this decision. Once the decision has been made, just let us know and we’ll apply up to a year of rent toward an instrument of equal or greater value. We can even deliver the new instrument to your school and pick up your current instrument.
