The most easily affordable of the fine line of Fox oboes, it is made from a high-quality plastic resin body that has been hand reamed and finished by Fox craftsmen. Key of C, pitch A-440. The mechanism is a simplified plateau system including the left F, low Bb, and F resonance keys. The keys are 18% nickel silver with heavy silverplating. Cork pads are on C#, Eb, and above. Accessories include the French-style student case, reed, reed case, silk swab, and cork grease.
